*During daylight savings time, hours are MST (same as PDT) because Arizona does not observe daylight savings time.

Before you call, especially the first time, please be ready to provide specific information about your account and student loans so that we may better assist you.

❶ Provide Information

Prepare to provide information about your student loan(s) to the Champion customer service representative when you call. Note that we may also need to conference in your loan servicer to obtain details about your current status so that we can provide you with the best options for YOUR situation! Specifically, we will need to know the name of your loan servicer to properly assist you. If you do not already have that information, you can easily find out who your loan servicer is and/or the status of your loans by visiting the NSLDS website and follow these instructions: Select the Financial Aid review option and log-in using your FSA ID. You may also create an FSA ID or retrieve your user name and password if you have forgotten yours.

Click the “My Student Data Download” button to download your student loan information.This file will provide some information on your loans including the name of your loan servicer. Please have that file open when you call us.

❷ Gather Documents

If you have copies of letters or other communications from your servicer or a collection company, please have those letters available at the time of the call so we can review that information with you.

❸ Know Your User Name

Please write down your Champion Empowerment username so our customer service reps can find you in our system to verify your account.  (go here)
